Symbiosis
“A world is not an ideology nor a scientific institution, nor is it even a system of ideologies; rather, it is a structure of unconscious relations and symbiotic processes”
William Irvin Thompson
Not all marine life lives in the open ocean. Coral reefs house thousands of species which, in turn, provide sustenance for the open water. To protect themselves from predators, many species form an alliance. And for some of them, this alliance becomes their home, because in the marine world, many houses are very much alive themselves. This way they develop a symbiotic relationship. Shelter in return for cleaning duties, for example.
‘Habited’ zooms out. And shows marine creatures in their (living) houses.
